Show Your Name After Time in Taskbar

Trick to show Your name or anything you want after time in task-bar..........


Try this trick to add up your name or anything you want in place of AM and PM beside time Its simple

Step-1:- Navigate to  -> Start  -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Option -> Click on additional setting -> Go to TIME Tab -> Change AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to your name 







 -> Apply -> OK .. 




Did It change?

If not,


follow step-2 below. 



Step2:- Now go to time in task-bar and Double Click it to open "Date and time property" ...
Look place where time changes in digital form i.e. 02:47:52 AM ,
 click to arrow to change the AM or PM by selecting and press arrow.
It will Show your name or name that was entered by u, Apply -> OK

Speed Your Browser By Changing Your DNS

Most people use the default DNS settings provided by their ISP, and while they are usually sufficient for most purposes, there are plenty of free options out there, like Open DNS and Google DNS. Namebench is a free app that checks to see whether your current settings are optimized and, if not, which free option is best for you. Here's how to use it:

Download and install Namebench.

Fire it up and choose your settings. Keep the top two boxes checked. If you're concerned about network censorship, check the third box, and if you want to help the developers, check the last box. You can tweak the rest if you're outside U.S. or want to experiment with different browsers.
 




Click Start Benchmark and wait while Namebench runs its tests. It should take several minutes. A browser tab should pop open when Namebench is done and give you a list of DNS servers and how much faster they are than the one you're currently using, unless yours are already the fastest possible.

Namebench does not change your settings, but it's generally pretty easy to do it yourself. Check with the instructions you got from your ISP to set up your modem and/or router and just substitute the DNS addresses you received from Namebench for the addresses given by your ISP. It's best to do this with your router, as it will assign that DNS address for all the devices attached to it.

That's it! This can dramatically improve your browsing speed, and it's fairly easy to work through.

Hide Your Local Drive



Hey, this is very simple, without any software you can hide your local drives. This can be done with Disk Management Utility in windows. According to me this is the most reliable way for data protection, no proof no searches. Here are the steps, follow it. . . . .





 


 First of all close all the applications and folders before you going through these steps.

    Right click on My Computer.
    Click on Manage or press G. Computer Management will opened.
    On the left side panel double click Storage, when it opens click Disk Management.
    All the drives in your computer will be displayed on right side.
    Now right click on the drive you want to hide and click Change drive letter and paths..
    A new window appears, select Remove option and click Yes and the chosen partition will get hidden.


 

To get the hidden partition back follow the above mentioned 5 steps and click on Add option and click Ok.
Now goto My Computer and check it.

How To Create Password Protected MS-Word Document






We all use Microsoft Word to create documents.
and some times we dont want other people to access our documents
specially when you are on a shared computer in your company and you may have your certain secret data stored in your word document that should not be accessed by your boss or other employee’s.

To deal with such a situation Microsoft word 2007 integrated a security feature in Microsoft word so that you can password protect your files.


just follow these simple steps to make your document protected


Click on the Microsoft Office Button present on the top left corner of the window.
Now Click on the Save As option
Now a new window will pop up.
Click on Tools option at the bottom of the window.
Now open general options.....(in office 2007).
Now you will have two options.
You can select either one or both options
One is Password To Open it will ask for the password every time the document is opened.
So to view the document you have to enter the password first.
Second is Password To Modify it will ask for the password every time somebody tries to modify the document.

TRICK to Increase Your RAM and Make Your System Faster

 

 Steps :--


1) Hold down the 'Windows' Key
and Press the 'Pause/Break' button
at the top right of your keyboard.
Another way is Right-Clicking 'My
Computer' and then Select
'Properties'.

2) Click on the 'Advanced' tab.

3) Under 'Performance', click
'Settings'.

4) Then click the 'Advanced' tab on
the button that pops up.

5) Under 'Virtual Memory' at the
bottom, click 'Change'.

6) Click the 'Custom Size' button.

7) For the initial size (depending
on your HD space), type in
anywhere from 1000-1500
(although I use 4000), and for the
Maximum size type in anywhere
from 2000-2500 (although I use
6000).

8) Click 'Set', and then exit out of all
of the windows.

9) Finally, Restart your computer.

10) You now have a faster
computer and 1-2GB of Virtual
RAM..!

Notepad Tricks

 

  Here is a funny one!

open notepad and write the following:

MD 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20

Press Save as and save it e.g (Folders.bat)
this will create 20 folders if you write numbers upto 100 it will give you 100 folders. You can also make folders with names, like this:

MD VIRUS DANGER INFECTED PC-BURN ERROR
and save it as anyname.bat

Funny thing is that you can actually hide this .bat file in an image (steganography Technique, use google for more info. ) then send it to your friend or anybody and when they click to view it will create as many folders as you put in the file with names you select.
